SOMETIMES LOVE NEEDS A HOLIDAY
It has been a while since I talked about baseball. I wanted to, but lots of issues at work have taking up most of my life. It is sad when my workload makes baseball suffers. I don’t like that. So I will make my playoff predictions now. I will go with the the Phillies over the Rays in five games and a few days. It sure is easier making those picks once the World Series has been over for a few weeks.
We knew this was coming, but we hoped it would not come. We all know the Cheap M&M are not the best sports owners. I still remember fondly the ceremonies for the 2007 NLCS celebration were the fans booed them even through the rockies had won the NL pennant.
We all know the rockies are a major league feeder team. Granted, I am surprise that we are the AAAA farm club for the Oakland A’s, but we are what we are. I was just hoping with the Holiday trade we would get more quality starting pitching.
Oh, well, maybe we will get some good starters with the trade of Aktins or Torrealba or Taveras or Street or Fowler/EYJ (future rockies to be traded) or Dinger (hey, one can still hope).
What I am sorry to see is the lost of rockies fans because of this move. Some of my friends will be voting for different teams next year as they have left the rockies fan base till the M&M’s are gone. I will still be a rockies fan, but I will be a little more alone. Hopefully, the next ownership group (whenever they come) will not be worst.

A FEW DOLLARS IN A COFFEE CAN
This video is floating around in a lot of blogs, but I think it is great. So I am including it in my blog as well.
It is called, “What if the Starbucks Marketed Like Church?”. This video is worth seeing and thinking about, but at the same time it very hilarious. Take five minutes and enjoy.
YOU’RE NOT ALONE IN YOUR SHAME AND YOUR SUFFERING
Here is just another reason I really love the church we get the attend. It is just the end of the service a few weeks ago, which was so awesome. You can watch the whole service online if you want by clicking here.
